Step 1
The initiation of the supplier change process can only take place after the end customer has opted for the new supplier. The supplier may be any of the economic operators holding the supply license on the Romanian territory, this service not being limited to a certain geographical area of service.
Step 2
In order to conclude the new natural gas supply contract, the end customer has the obligation to send to the new supplier at least the following data: the address of the place of consumption, the unique identification code of the place of consumption, the value of the due and unpaid invoices until the date of notification related of the supplied natural gas, as well as the data regarding the consumption and, as the case may be, other documents provided in the regulations in force.
Step 3
After the end customer and the new supplier agree on the contractual clauses, including the price of natural gas, they conclude the natural gas supply contract. The natural gas supply contract concluded with the new supplier produces effects from the date of termination of the contract concluded with the current supplier.
Step 4
The end user is obliged to notify the current supplier on the termination of the supply contract at least 21 days in advance.
Step 5
At the request of the end customer and based on the natural gas supply contract concluded with the final customer, the new supplier has the obligation to take the necessary steps to conclude the contract/contracts ensure the network service/services.
